The newly created Jerry Van Dyke Memorial Award (named for 2009 CMHOF inductee Jerry Van Dyke) recognizes outstanding contribution to Colorado motorsports by an individual. The award recipient is chosen by the CMHOF Board of Directors.

The board selected veteran motorsports journalist Scott Stocker to be the recipient of the Jerry Van Dyke Memorial Award, recognizing outstanding contribution to motorsports by an individual.

2011

The board selected veteran motorsports photographer Joe Starr to be the recipient of the Jerry Van Dyke Memorial Award, recognizing outstanding contribution to motorsports by an individual.

2010

The board selected veteran Pikes Peak International Hill Climb flagman, Art Walsh, to be the first recipient of the Jerry Van Dyke Memorial Award, recognizing outstanding contribution to motorsports by an individual.
